We've got a lot of news for you today - there's our last of the CES rundowns with some very lackluster accessories, the latest dirt on the 3DS' batteries and launch titles thanks to Nintendo World, and a relative TON of new info on Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, thanks to Game Informer. In some sad news, Gearbox's Alien: Colonial Marines will NOT be seeing a release this year, thanks to Duke Nukem Forever. Story #1 - CES? More like Meh-ES! www.destructoid.com Our second round of CES news isn't quite as exciting - Mad Catz announced a few accessories, and there's an inflatable car you can play Wii inside. It's hard to believe that at the start of the week, there was almost nothing worth reporting about -- now we've been covered in a veritable avalanche of video-game related journalism. CES was obviously the big news in all things consumer electronics this week, and we've got a few quick hits that you need to know about (most noticeably, an amazing portable gaming machine). We're also getting closer to the first big releases of the year, including Dtoid favorite Marvel vs Capcom 3. Nick Chester has had a hand on it for a few weeks now, and we've got the gameplay footage and costumes to prove it. Another shoe has dropped in Sony's little Xperia Play reveal-a-thon they've got going on, and it's not a good one. No friends, even though the device is "Playstation Certified," you won't get to download titles you've already bought on the PSN for free. Maybe they could learn a little something from Valve and Steam, for whom the idea of purchasing the same title multiple times is a ridiculous proposition. Thanks to some reporting by Forbes, we've just learned that Valve and Steam have profits in the high hundreds of millions, and are more profitable per employee than Apple OR Google. Way to go Gabe, keep it up. In other news today we learned that according to some survey, Gears of War 3 is the most anticipated game of 2011. Suffice to say, we're a bit surprised at that.
